Base wage range: $78,400 - $89,600 (including Super), based on experience
Award rate for all TVC work, onset and installs
4 weeks annual leave 
Work cover insurance
8.5 hour days with overtime paid after 8.5 hours (when required)

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Senior position
• Team leader in the workshop and warehouse
• Leading build projects and the build team
• Strong build knowledge and skills required
• Carpentry qualifications favourable but not essential
• Assisting with logistics of projects, including on site bump-in and bump-outs
• Mentoring junior team members
• Onset work as set dresser / construction standby
• Truck organisation, packing, delivery and installation of custom builds
• Organisation of the prop store and stock when required
• General warehouse duties

THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Project Lead to assist our Directors with all of our custom build and TVC projects. You will be able to work autonomously, lead a build team which will fluctuate in size depending on the job. You will have a meticulous attention to detail as you will be AXIS’s eyes on all build projects and will be comfortable to work on multiple projects at once. Staying calm under pressure in the workshop and having a professional manner when liaising with clients onset and during installations is essential, as we build really strong working relationships with our crew and clients.

ABOUT US
We are a design, custom build and prop store for Film/TV/Photography.
We design and build custom sets, activations and props for all kinds of projects.
We also handle the Art Department on TVC projects from start to finish, including sourcing, set dressing, building the sets, install and onset work. No two days are the same as we also run a prop store for Film/TV/Styling which requires maintenance and upkeep.
We are a small team, which fluctuates in size depending on our project’s needs, but we are growing fast and are looking for someone who is also happy to start small, but dream big!
